Melissa Woodhouse, Manager Membership, Culture and Services
Melissa has had extensive experience as an educator and leader in Early Education and Care services, in private and government settings. She has managed a diverse range of programs and people and has a particular interest in change management and team development. Melissa has a passion for positive psychology and aims to inspire people to recognise and build on their strengths. Melissa holds a Diploma in Children’s Services and a degree in Management, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Hedy has over 12 years of experience in accounting, finance and corporate services. Having spent 7 years in the commercial sector working for a public listed media company. The last 5 years have been spent in the not-for-profit sector in the areas of youth and disability services. Hedy has been Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualified since 2004 and has a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting.
Shannon Hunter, Executive Assistant to the CEO
Shannon has over 10 years’ experience as an Executive and Personal Assistant. Having worked for some of Australia’s most iconic companies, Shannon is well rounded and has a wealth of knowledge over various industries. Providing impeccable support Shannon is the go to person of CCCC.
Ann Cochrane, IT Support Officer
Ann comes to Community Child Care with a strong background in information technology, which she uses in her position as Corporate Services and IT Support Officer. Ann is responsible for the provision of IT support to the organisation. She has over 25 years experience in IT operations and support with a broad knowledge of software, hardware and databases.
Anthea Charalambous, Team Leader – Membership & Partnerships
Anthea has more than eight years experience in marketing, communications, sales and product development. She has held a number of roles within the private sector in particular marketing and communication roles for global giftware and IT organisations both in Australia and the USA, before venturing into early childhood education and working in a long day care centre and OOSH service. Anthea holds a BA Communication from the University of Western Sydney.
Rowanne (Ro) has just completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care, she started her journey 30 years ago with her CCC to advance to her Diploma in Children’s Services. Ro has worked in Early Childhood Education spanning from Long Day Care, Preschools and Family Day Care. Under the roles of Educational Leader, Family Day Care Facilitator and Child Development Officer. Ro is passionate about informing Educators about the uniqueness of their roles and how to access the most from their memberships.
Nathalie has over 23 years’ experience in management and Early Childhood Education. Nathalie holds a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) and Diploma of Children Services. Nathalie has worked closely with and supported a broad range of early childhood services and professionals through her experience in recruitment consultancy. Having always maintained a strong commitment to the early childhood sector Nathalie has enjoyed networking, supporting and liaising with like-minded early childhood professionals whilst continuing to learn, grow and be inspired by others. Nathalie’s passion for working in close partnerships with early childhood professionals will ensure our members continue to be provided with excellent service and care.
Ana Goncalves, Human Resources Officer
Ana comes from a varied employment background having worked in Hospitality, Sales Marketing, Insurance and Finance. Her bookkeeping/finance experience comes from her previous role as the Accounts Officer for a Global Bank. Ana holds a Certificate III in Accounts Administration and is looking at expanding her skills in HR & Payroll.
Elizabeth Stasous, Bookkeeper
Currently on Maternity Leave
Elizabeth comes from a varied employment background having worked in retail, merchandising, hospitality and accounts. Her bookkeeping experience comes from her recent role as the Accounts Manager for a Sydney law firm. Elizabeth holds a Certificate III in Bookkeeping and is working towards her Diploma. Elizabeth has a passion for voluntary work and through her local community is involved in fundraising for Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Karen Grant, PDS Administration Officer/Receptionist
Karen has over 20 years’ experience working in a variety of industries in both government and private sectors. She has held various roles in administration, customer service and reception.
Margaret Apps, Receptionist
Margaret comes to us with a background in nursing and over ten years administration and reception experience in the NFP and private sector. Margaret has a strong focus on customer service and looks forward to working in the early childhood sector.
