Sylvia Sekuloska, Manager – Finance, Systems and Human Resources
Sylvia has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. She spent two years as an auditor, 14 years with Sydney Water in various accounting roles, including five years as Finance Manager for the Retail Division. Sylvia’s qualifications include Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting, an Associate Diploma in Arts with a major in Communications. Sylvia has been Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualified since 1998.
Hedy has over 12 years of experience in accounting, finance and corporate services. Having spent 7 years in the commercial sector working for a public listed media company. The last 5 years have been spent in the not-for-profit sector in the areas of youth and disability services. Hedy has been Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualified since 2004 and has a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting.
Tonia Amy – Executive Assistant to the CEO
Tonia brings with her more than 20 years’ experience in the areas of office and financial management, administration and human resources from both the corporate and non-profit sector. Tonia has worked in diverse fields providing administration support for the NSW Equestrian Federation, Greenpeace Australia and various roles in the fashion industry. Tonia has a passion for the not-for-profit sector and particularly in the area of literacy.
Jo Walls, Corporate Services Officer
Jo has been employed in the fields of finance, customer service and IT for over 25 years and has had a longstanding interest in the not-for-profit sector. Jo has studied in the areas of customer service and computer programming and she holds an accounting certificate.
Helen Thornton, Project Officer
Helen has more than 25 years of experience in the Early Childhood profession and has worked as a teacher, educator, consultant, director, and mentor here in Australia, as well as the U.K. With a background in teaching, and management Helen has held senior roles in children’s services as well as working with youth, aged care and the disability sector. Helen has a broad experience working with not for profit organisations, councils, corporates and the private sector and is committed to service excellence and to making a difference.
Ann Cochrane, Corporate Services and IT Support Officer
Ann comes to Community Child Care with a strong background in information technology, which she uses in her position as Corporate Services and IT Support Officer. Ann is responsible for the provision of IT support to the organisation. She has over 25 years experience in IT operations and support with a broad knowledge of software, hardware and databases.
Anthea Charalambous, Marketing Officer
Anthea has more than eight years experience in marketing, communications, sales and product development. She has held a number of roles within the private sector in particular marketing and communication roles for global giftware and IT organisations both in Australia and the USA, before venturing into early childhood education and working in a long day care centre and OOSH service. Anthea holds a BA Communication from the University of Western Sydney.
Ana Goncalves – Finance, Systems and Human Resources Support Officer
Ana comes from a varied employment background having worked in Hospitality, Sales Marketing, Insurance and Finance. Her bookkeeping/finance experience comes from her previous role as the Accounts Officer for a Global Bank. Ana holds a Certificate III in Accounts Administration and is looking at expanding her skills in HR & Payroll.
Lynn Lin, Finance, Systems and Human Resources Bookkeeper
Lynn has over 6 years’ accounting and finance experience; working in a variety of industries, in both non for profit and private sectors. Lynn is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA); qualified since 2009 and has a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting.
Elizabeth Stasous, Finance, Systems and Human Resources Bookkeeper
Elizabeth comes from a varied employment background having worked in retail, merchandising, hospitality and accounts. Her bookkeeping experience comes from her recent role as the Accounts Manager for a Sydney law firm. Elizabeth holds a Certificate III in Bookkeeping and is working towards her Diploma. Elizabeth has a passion for voluntary work and through her local community is involved in fundraising for Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Karen Grant, Corporate Services Officer/Receptionist
Karen has over 20 years’ experience working in a variety of industries in both government and private sectors. She has held various roles in administration, customer service and reception.
