Educational Leadership Sessions in May

Community Child Care Co-operative is offering a range of specially developed professional development opportunities around key NQF issues such as QIPs and educational leadership. These opportunities are in response to specific demand from services. Read on to find a professional development opportunity that matches your need!

Educational Leadership: Guiding your Early Childhood Program’s Pedagogy

Build your understanding of what role the Educational Leader should play in your service and investigate strategies to lead your service’s pedagogy. These 2 hr sessions provide opportunities for questioning, analysing, reflecting and networking.

These professional development opportunities have been funded by the NSW Department of Education and Communities.


Approved Providers Information Session

Community Child Care Co-operative is running a series of information sessions for Approved Providers of long day care services and preschools.

The sessions are designed to assist Approved Providers understand their role in relation to the National Quality Framework, the new Regulations and Law.

Who should attend these sessions? Representatives of LDC and preschool management committees, and service owners. Nominated Supervisors may wish to accompany their service owner/management committee members.Sessions are being held at two metropolitan locations and via webinar for services located outside of Sydney.

Free webinarCollaboration and the QIP: staying motivated to keep on track

Please note:  We have had an overwhelming interest in this free webinar session.  As a result of a large number of bookings we stopped taking the registrations for this webinar. We are planning a repeat session of this webinar in the near future. Please register your interest by completing the survey.

In response to requests for specific training courses around the QIP, Community Child Care Co-operative is hosting a FREE professional development session for children’s services in NSW.

This FREE webinar, suitable for everyone, will examine how all staff can prepare for assessment under the NQS, focusing on putting the QIP into action.

In a 30 minute session, we will cover:

  • Managing change in a busy environment;
  • The role that empowerment and delegation play in successful NQS preparation;
  • Roadblocks to motivation and how to overcome them; and
  • Practical tips to engage the team and keep staff engaged throughout the journey.
