Program Areas

Community Child Care Co-operative operates in a range of programs area. The main ones are:

Advocacy and Peak

Community Child Care advocates for children’s services and for the children and families who use these services. We believe all children in NSW have the right to access quality, affordable early education and care services. We believe children’s services should be consulted about changes to programs and policy which will affect their operation.

Early Education Access

Community Child Care operates programs that work to ensure children’s access to quality, affordable early education and care services is widened.

Professional Learning

Children’s services staff need to be able to access a range of different types of professional development and training courses, whether they be short calendared in-service training sessions, courses run at their service or nationally recognised training.

Service Management

Community Child Care Co-operative supports community based not-for-profit management of children’s services. When specific communities can no longer manage their children’s service, Community Child Care can assist them by becoming the operator of the service.
